P Chidambaram has Rs 50,000 crore in foreign banks

Indore Sep 26 : Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy has said that it would not be possible to stop terrorism till P Chidambaram is home minister. 

“He is a traitor and the most corrupt minister in the UPA government. There are proofs of his anti-national activities, which I have placed before court. He has Rs 50,000 crore in foreign banks,” Swamy said in response to a query at a ‘Meet the press’ programme held at Indore Press Club on Sunday.Elaborating, Swamy said Chidambaram as finance minister manipulated  the stock market, doctored its rise and fall for vested interest. As finance minister, he insisted on buying paper used for printing Indian currency notes from a London (UK) firm, which also supplied it to Pakistan.

1. The National Minority Commission has yet to sent me a Notice despite their announcement in the press two weeks ago of sending it. However, if such a Notice comes I shall first raise the question of corrupt practices of two membersVinod Sharma and Sardar Hanspal Which merit prosecution under the Prevention of Corruption Act. In case of Mr. Sharma there is also a complaint pending for police prosecution for drunken and disorderly behaviour recently at the India International Centre as well as his physical assalut of a Dalit IAS officer of the of the Steel Ministry.

Corruption in India is now a major concernfor all patriotic citizens because of scams galoresuch as Satyam, IPL, CWG, and 2G Spectrum etc., etc..By all objective criteria, India today has by far one of the most corrupt governance.It is fueled by greed and single-minded adherence to materialism.

Corruption generally is any inducement, or bribe, to do or not to do anything that the bribe giver wants from the bribe taker who otherwise will not do or will do. By this broad definition even dowry payments is corruption. We are however concerned here with misuse of public office for private gain either for oneself, family or friend. This represents a governance failure and hence of primary national concern.
